Bollé continues its roll-out strategy in cycling by becoming the Official Eyewear Partner of Australia’s most famous cycling event – the 2015 Santos Tour Down Under.

Bollé is already the official eyewear partner of the Australian team

ORICA-GreenEDGE since Jan 2013, as well as the French team of AG2R La Mondiale. The addition of this world renowned event will further see Bollé supporting the development of cycling in Australia.
Hitaf Rasheed, General Manager, Events South Australia said that the Santos Tour Down Under is pleased to welcome Bollé to the event as a the official eyewear partner.

“We are looking forward to working with Bollé over the coming months to further promote their support of cycling in Australia through their Santos Tour Down Under partnership,” said Ms Rasheed.


“Cycling fans can experience the latest in the Bollé range during the event from the Adelaide City Council Tour Village and Bike Expo. The three year event partnership will offer Bollé the platform and network to further grow their brand as we continue to build and further develop the event.”

Bollé has produced increasingly innovative sunglasses lenses and frames for over 120 years. Omnipresent in professional road cycling in the 1980’s and 90’s, worn by famous cyclists such as Miguel Indurain (5 times winner of the Tour de France), Pedro Delgado, Alex Zülle, Laurent Jalabert and Leontien Von Moorsel (3 times Olympic Champion). More recently the brand has had huge success with the Orica-GreenEDGE team and its new cycling collection, specifically the model 6th Sense which was developed in close collaboration with the team.
